Our Vision

We envision a world where every Black and Brown student learns, grows, and heals in culturally affirming spaces that honor
their identity, resilience, and potential. Through community collaboration, educator transformation, and student
empowerment, The Scholars Garden, Inc. works to redefine education as a place of belonging, wellness, and liberation for all.

What Makes Us Different

We understand our kids and our community

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all

We focus on relationships, not just programs

We support the whole child

We support families AND educators

We are trauma-focused and healing-centered

We don’t try to erase our trauma or culture; we grow
through our trauma and focus on cultural resilience
